P&G is selling its Duracell battery business, to Berkshire Hathaway, which has billionaire Warren Buffet as its chairman & CEO.

P&G acquired Duracell in 2005 – back in August, it was reported that the company plans to sell as many as 100 brands over the next two years in an effort to focus on its top performers. The company’s top brands include Tide detergents, Pampers diapers, Crest toothpaste and Gillette razors.

The Associated Press reports that P&G will receive nealry $4.7 billion in its own shares, which is the majority of the P&G shares that Berkshire Hathaway currently holds.

The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2015.
